All links in job posts should be wrapped too, with the owner of any listing getting access to the stats on how many users viewed that link (but not who).
When a link is followed, knowing whether that was from desktop or mobile is useful context.
If an employer looks at a code repo on mobile and doesn't respond to the candidate, it may simply be that they're waiting to get to a desktop to look again.
Links in job applications and responses should be wrapped with our own link analyser (even in the email version) so that we know when someone's opened them. These should be reported back to the sending party.
Candidates deserve to know whether employers have looked at their resume at all, and likewise employers deserve to know if the candidate has seen the response. This will help them know if applications/responses have landed in spam, among other things.
