Being able to add entries to known_hosts in the guest as part of provisioning would be very handy.
The first things I do when recreating a VM for an existing site is sync the database & files from a remote site - I can't automate this step though due to the prompt to add the remote server to known_hosts.
I think it may pay to add a few sensible defaults for good measure too:
