Thanks to the amazing work by Lars we now have a great index page.

There's a few tweaks I could suggest but all very minor and certainly nothing to stop it going into a release IMO. The initial issue is resolved as far as I'm concerned - we can deal with tweaks and the like in subsequent issues.

I left it open as a reminder to give it a final once over before releasing in the next version. If it checks out with you Dan then I'm happy to close it :)

I am working on a fork right now putting it into index.j2, so wait until you do anything. As soon as I tested whether it works as expected I will commit it.

Cool. It is just plain bootstrap - and the css is pulled from external sources. I think I included everything, I could think of is included now. You probably have other stuff, you think is important.
I would also put a phpinfo.php file in the same directory so it is easy to see how the server is setup. The simple file is also in the repository.

I haven't had a lot of time this weekend to look at this but I really like the idea and I absolutely love the work you have done on that template. Once complete I'll be sure to include it into the index.j2 template and include it into Vlad.
Thank you!

When accessing http://drupal.local/ it would be great with clear instructions on how to add a custom drupal distribution or custom build also.
1) Do one need to create a database - and how is that done? 2) Can one VLAD hold several sites / platforms - or just one? 3) Is it necessary to create subdomains?
That is some of the questions that could be answered.
