Note: After the failing message, I was able to ran successfully vagrant ssh
Using vagrant 1.1, if I configure port-forwarding in the vagrant file the boot process hangs at "Configuring and enabling network interfaces..." and then prints out this message:
"Guest-specific operations were attempted on a machine that is not ready for guest communication. This should not happen and a bug should be reported."
I tried this with two boxes; your official precise64 box and with the new ubuntu vagrant box quantal: http://cloud-images.ubuntu.com/quantal/current/quantal-server-cloudimg-vagrant-amd64-disk1.box
After commenting out the port forwarding the boxes boot up correctly. I tried to forward this ports, but even the "80 -> 80" does not work:
config.vm.network :forwarded_port, guest: 80, host: 80 config.vm.network :forwarded_port, guest: 443, host: 443 config.vm.network :forwarded_port, guest: 3306, host: 3306
By the way, I'm using VirtualBox as provider.
