Would be great to see an example deploying an Elixir Phoenix app. https://www.phoenixframework.org/

It seems that you cannot specify custom build packs to be able to use something like the heroku-buildpack-elixir

Also by the way, you can specify custom buildpacks with Waypoint now so this should be possible.
