Update all dependencies #54

Well, I wanted to onlt remove a non-working C port and ended up updating everything.

In the future we can take care of updates with the help of dependabot.

OK, then. I guess I'll merge this one and then I'll collect some more info in the following days from #55 and cleanup stale/non-working implementations.
