@ilya-epifanov Thanks for the updates and sorry for the late reply - I had some surgery and my screen time was limited.

Looks good to me, I'll take another look at if this project (the test executables specifically) could finally be moved to Rust stable, I think that the nightly alloc feature is the last blocker.
