Cateogory is deprecated by still needed? #362

I'm a little confused on whether category is needed. RFC 7991 deprecates it, but xml2rfc --v3 still looks for it.

https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7991#section-2.45.1 is also confusing on what exactly needs to be specified. It says use which allows:

The name of the series. The currently known values are "RFC", "Internet-Draft", and "DOI". The RFC Series Editor may change this list in the future.

While category has 'std', 'exp' etc. ?

Yes, the current implementation still uses category, following the proposal in https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-levkowetz-xml2rfc-v3-implementation-notes#section-3.1.7.

Closing this with won't fix for now.
