This will reduce the resistance to installing and using, which is obviously a 
good thing, for chrome, google, and the web.

Necessary for chrome version  21.0.1180.15 it does not allow me to install the 
crx only when it comes from the webstore.

Priority should be raised to high as Chrome 33 will now disallow external 
extension installs unless in developer mode (More clicks, increased difficulty 
in installation).

Chrome 33 expected to land in March.
