Unfortunately I’m not able to discover my device on the network.
I proceeded to the pairing with mi home, I can see (ping) it joining my network via Wi-Fi but “miio discover” do not return anything (even my Xiaomi gateway isn’t answering).
I’ve tried to reset the dehumidifier and connect its Wi-Fi to run “miio —discover —sync” but same, nothing happens.
I’ve tried to use another tool: python-miio: when I do “mirobo discover” I have an answer from my gateway but nothing from dehumidifier.
I’ve tried to sniff network with tcpdump/wire shark from my Wi-Fi router to see if any data is going out: I can only capture frames going to the device (from external IP) but not outgoing data except few ARP frames.
Nevertheless I can see the device in mi home updating and reacting when I send commands.
Device’s firmware has been updated while pairing to version 2.0.5.0018.
I’m wondering what media it uses to communicate ??? Is it via Wi-Fi or zigbee through the Xiaomi gateway ???
I might have issues with my miio install has gateway neither can be seen but I haven’t found any advice to troubleshoot the issue.
Would you have any suggestions to help figuring out ?
