Appdaemon won't install "torch" package #266

Closed kerryland closed 1 year ago

kerryland commented 1 year ago

Problem/Motivation

I want to make use of the sentence-transformers package to play with some natural language processing (specifically, I want to build my own assistant), but it fails to install the pytorch (torch) dependency.

The desire to access to the functionality of pytorch is only going to grow.

Expected behavior

I expect torch to install.

Actual behavior

ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement torch>=1.6.0 (from sentence-transformers) (from versions: none)

Steps to reproduce

Configure AppDaemon as shown:

appdaemon-torch
