Lost hours of work as my home dashboard just got completely reset #323

I just newly installed both influxdb and grafana addons to homeassistant.

Used the complete standard setup and homeassistant is running supervised in their provided VM, so no custom setup issues going on.

I can add my data source in Grafana which also persists and then I started putting together my solar dashboard for about 2 hours.

Next time I refresh, everything GONE. Wow. No way to back it up or restore it.

What is this being caused by? I then tried again modifying the General/Home dashbaord. once I refresh, it reverts back to what it was.

Frustrating...

ok, looks like the default home dashboard by grafana can be edited, but not explicitly saved. This is a huge frustrating pitfall that shoudl be documented. Also makes hardly any sense. I do not want all of these default cards, I want my own version of the home dashboard.

How can this be achieved?
