Tasmoadmin in sidebar of HA #433

Thank you for this great addon. It helps a lot managing and keeping track of my tasmota devices.

I have one little request. Most/all other addons have the option to be added to the sidebar. I miss that option in tasmoadmin-admin. Is it possible to add this? It would getting to the addon a bit simpler.

Other than that, thanks for the great addon.

Nope, not all applications are suitable for that, unfortunately.

Hi Frenck, Thanks, at least I know it has been contemplated. And unfortunately deemed infeasable. Again thanks for the addon. For my curiousity, what is the difference from the other applications that makes it not work?

Tasmota devices need to be able to reach out to TasmoAdmin, once it is embedded in Home Assistant, they won't be able too do that correctly.

There are some workaround to do it, but it will constantly lead to problems and confusion, hence it is better to simply not do it

Ah, I see. All the other links in the sidebar have the homeassistant.local:8123/something format. Although I would imagine that Node-RED also has plenty of external devices it needs to reach out to and communicate with. Anyways, thanks for the explanation!
