Possible issue with addon and HA UniFi integration. #499

There is a GitHub issue relating to UniFi devices becoming unavailable. The issue can be reproduced by restarting the UniFi addon - essentially when you do, all UniFi devices become unavailable until the UniFi integration is reloaded

Sorry, if you have an issue with the UniFi integration, please report the issue with the Home Assistant project. A working integration is not in scope for the add-on project.

Sorry. I don't think it's clear whether the problem is in the addon or the integration. I have reported it there and because of some reports that the issue isn't reproducible when the controller runs on UDM I thought perhaps it may be an issue with the controller addon.

Cool, but UDM is not the same thing 🤷

Could be, happy to hear where it is going south. I'm not in control of the integration, nor do I use it or care. If you have an issue with Home Assistant, please report it with them.

I realise you aren’t involved with the integration but it does interact with your addon, which is great I might add. I am however not running the controller on UDM. We are using your addon. Restarting your addon causes the problem on our setup. I thought perhaps you might have something to offer us in trying to solve the problem. Sorry to have bothered you.
