Client doesn't notify when server is down #305

Problem/Motivation

I have always on vpn on my phone and it works great! But when my ISP has problemes my phone can't connect to my HA. When that happens I don't get notified about that. People try to reach me on Whatsapp, I don't get the messages..

Expected behavior

I get notified that no packages are sent from the server.

Actual behavior

nothing

Steps to reproduce

Pull power cord to HA-server.

Proposed changes

I get notified that no packages are sent from the server.
