This is an idea for a hassio Addon. I think that Android Auto could be a great addon if home assistant is used e.g. in a camper. There is a version for the raspberry called OpenAuto https://github.com/f1xpl/openauto

Maybe it is possible to have a way to switch between the OpenAuto screen and the home assistant dashboard (webpage)

While this is an amazing freaking cool piece of software, the use case for it is really a really small niche.

Developing add-ons takes time and maintaining costs even more time (over time). Therefore I have to decline this idea to be a candidate for the Community Add-ons project.
