Verified I was able to clone: git clone -b relative-submodules --recurse-submodules git@github.com:hathitrust/hathifiles

Will merge once CI passes

Coverage: 96.558%. Remained the same when pulling 69443fa64f8beacbfa5b313832629aeb96bef77f on relative-submodules into 45a09d19b631825b44eb145923997cf22d336ae6 on main.
