Pretty much what the title says, full bi-directional crossposting will make this useful for a larger user group.

tl;dr: closing as wontfix for now because Telegram sucks and Mastodon also kinda sucks.

Full bidirectional crossposting may be worked on in future, but it's really low priority, at least for me. That will require complete redesign of reposting progress and some sort of internal bus to feed posts into. I think there are already some options that you can use, but, once again, it won't happen here any time soon. Plus, Telegram has less features (no alt-text, no content-warnings, etc). Plus, as far as I'm aware, there is no way to create links using Mastodon (ie, you can't do this), so it'd be really awkward to translate Telegram formatting to Mastodon. Pleroma does have support for formatting, but since that project was designed for Mastodon first, I'm not gonna add functionality that doesn't work here.
