Looks like the other apps that i had with similar issues may be unrelated, as i
have
a similar problem on gtk apps when i close tabs in pidgin for example,
the cursor appears in boxes but i cannot type, it happens without wmii running,
so
maybe a GTK issue there?
As for the issues with basket...well i cannot produce those in the other WM I
tried..so maybe this issue is still relevant? I am not sure altogether

Works for me in “Basket”, and I've never seen such behavior myself. Any
more info?

My apologies, this does not appear to be related to wmii, I am seeing this
issue in
other window managers, only when switching windows with the keyboard. Thank you
for
all of your time and effort that you put into this project!

I do not think this was a wmii issue, (also, I have reinstalled my OS and
everything,
and the weirdness associated with this ticket has gone away) So you can go
ahead and
close this ticket, thanks

version: wmii-3.6
i have a smiliar problem which i am able to reproduce by launching netbeans. if
i
change the focused app to netbeans wmii does not draw its border as "focused"
and i
am not able to write texts in netbeans. i have to click into netbeans.
navigating
wmii via keyboard still works. maybe it is a netbeans issue, but i am not sure
(gtk
apps incl. pidgin are working perfect).
when in use openbox3 i am able to write texts in netbeans when focusing it via
keyboard.

@maisaffe: If I could make a suggestion, it is that you should definitely try a
newer
wmii than 3.6, wmii-hg or maybe 3.9beta1, as if i recall correctly, 3.6 is
quite old.
