wimenu: using numpad keys results in garbage #213

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run wimenu.
2. Attempt to enter numbers using the numpad keys

What is the expected result? What do you see instead?
  Expected result: "foo123" (numbers entered with the numpad keys)
  Actual results:  "foo1<garbage>2<garbage>3<garbage>" -- see attachment
