Add label spacing to the tool 'Change Label' #10

Many thanks for your useful plugin.
Could I suggest this little improvement? Why don't add the label spacing (both between letter and word) to the tool 'Change Label'? Best regards.

Hi, are you talking about tooltip on the buttons of labeling toolbar? If yes, this is a QGIS issue, my plugin just add the "Easy abc" button. Can you raise that to hub.qgis.org? Cheers

Hi When the labeling layer is generated it would be useful to add the fields about spacing (between letter and between words, e.g.: 'LblSpaceLetter' and 'LblSpaceWord' ) so that user could manage them in the same way as any other 'Lbl...' fields created. So, when user click on a label with the 'abc Change Label' tool, can also modify easily the values of these two fields. Cheers

Well, I can't see those input fields in Change Label window in 2.12( image from labeling toolbar
image Do I miss something? Adding new custom fields is not that complicated, but if there is not UI to fill that easily, I would'nt choose to make heavier labeling layer for a very uncommon task.

For such uses, I generally use advanced conditional expressions better that manual input. If you really need that, we first need a feature request to QGIS to add those fields.

If you need something very specific, you can fork the plugin and just add the fields you need. See at lines 531 -547 to add the fields and 620 to 647 to set labeling properties to use data defined fields. That should be enough. Cheers Régis
