Conversation button should be used? or removed?

Conversation button is this.

At first, I think this button become the trigger to change conversation view, but now, the trigger is **whole timeline item(except for links, buttons). So, this button is not used now.

Recently, the links on timeline item increases(url, mention link, avator link ...), and select text on timeline item is not working seamless(select is the trigger to show conversation view).

So I think conversation button should be enabled(means changes into the trigger to show conversation view).

How do you think?
