1 year ago @haussli can this get merged soon? I've also ran this PR in my own build for a couple months now and I haven't noticed any issues. It's been a few years since the last version.
The Opengear modules have been in the distribution for some time, but weren't built or installed. This change adds them to the build and install process, and cleans them up to deduplicate some of the common boilerplate bits. I've been running with these changes for quite some time on both Ubuntu and OSX, and just realized I'd never pushed them upstream.
