Create documentation to start and connect to external Tor [0.25 XMR] #1253

Open woodser opened 1 month ago

woodser commented 1 month ago

This issue requests adding documentation for how to start and connect to external Tor within Haveno.

The documentation should be added to the docs folder within the repo.

Once created, we'll add it https://docs.haveno.exchange/ as well.

Instructions should be per platform.

Basically we want starter instructions for each platform (mac, linux, and windows) to get people running easily, then they can explore alternative / more advanced methods on their own.

I’ll look into this

Just so this is clear: is this documentation for seed nodes, general users, or both?

And to make things 100% clear, should this already be possible in the code without needing to modify it (ie this issue should be only documentation)?

woodser commented 1 month ago

It's for general users.

Yeah it should be possible without changing any code, so only documentation.

The documentation should be ready
