Russia has a large crypto-currency community. A population of 144 million. The Russian financial market is expanding its partnerships with the financial markets of neighboring China (population 1.4 billion).

Why would Haveno be beneficial for the people using this specific fiat currency?

So that Russians have the opportunity to trade cryptocurrencies among themselves anonymously.

Additional notes

This will be a nice test of whether or not you add the Russian ruble despite potentially immense opposition and threats of sanctions. In short, whether or not you are independent and unimpressed by potential sanctions and threats (which could dwarf the threats from Zcash critics).
