some strokes aren't sent to viewer #7

seems to happen in a couple weird edge cases:

(1) if you start clicking and dragging after in the middle of a SHIFT-based stroke, it only sends the stuff after the click (this is presumably because clicking resets the path; the fix would be to check if a path exists first...)

(2) if you draw while the images are loading, some of those aren't sent...
