add volume bar #27

Add volume bar to control volume more easily. Press the volume icon to mute/unmute.

hmm. This looks fine, but I had actually not added a volume bar originally because I personally find it annoying for video players to have their own volume bars that are independent of the system volume. I've wasted way too much time with that.

I'm curious how many people are on each side of this.
