Tiled can export maps directly to lua and STI can load and tender them. STI also has a plugin system in it so you can integrate HC with it. BTW hardoncollider is outdated and a new improved version has been released. HC.readthedocs.org Upgrading to use these libraries would hopefully make your work flow a lot better.
