I want to say thank you for your work. I had been thinking about doing something similar myself, but you beat me to it by a couple of months :)

I want to share a use case of using only the language server without the extension. For example, I wanted to connect the LSP to the Helix editor, but I couldn't find it in the npm repository, so I had to manually install and build only the LSP. Can we somehow make this easier for future webc researchers?

Hi @vanarok! Apologies for the delay, I was on vacation for the last 2 weeks.

Happy to hear others are excited about this work! However, to clarify, this code was a brief experiment that I'm still uncertain that I want to continue building/maintaining (I'm pretty tight on free time these days 😅).

With that said, if you would like to make a PR to this repo with these requested changes or even fork the repo (since it's licensed under MIT) to use as a jumping off point for your own version of this work you are more than welcome to do so! 😊
