Fake rooms with Hate Speech #2109

Hello guys,

Unfortunately, we're encountering a concerning problem of fake rooms with identical names spreading hate speech in Haxball. These rooms replicate legitimate ones in coordinates and names, infiltrating the room name list with offensive content.

I kindly urge you to consider implementing preventive measures, such as preventing similar room names or introducing a hate speech filter. I want to emphasize the potential legal implications faced by other platforms that failed to curb hate speech.

These rooms are online for weeks, staining not only legitimate communities as also the game itself. A filter for creating room names would do great for maintaining the game that we all love.

After a few weeks online, and just after my post, these rooms have finally been closed. Thank you.

I still think it's important for some preventive measures to be implemented so these things don't affect the game in the future.
