Zooming in adds white space to the right of some pages #50

For example this page at nytimes.com:

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/31/world/coronavirus-covid-19.html

Before zooming, I can only scroll up and down, but after zooming, I can scroll into a large white section to the right. This happens on a few but not all NYT pages.
