5 years ago The rate at which you can donate points to a cause is similar to the inverse of the rate at which people can send them to you.
So, you could send 1 point to a cause. Then you would have to wait a week, and you can send 2. If you do, you have to wait two weeks, at the end of which you can send 3 points. If you do send those points, then you have to wait three weeks, and at the end of that you could send 5 points.
Or something to this effect. Need to think through what should happen if you don't send all the points you are able to at once; do you have to wait before you can send points again? The idea is to allow the number of points that people can send to a cause to grow slowly.
When a "Get Out Of Jail Free" card is cashed in, we have a party during the fulfillment of the event. Everything in the party, must be donated, including the points. So we need something in the app, where people can just contribute points to the realization of local Celebrations.
Maybe that's just a Cause, and each local branch/chapter will have its own Cause for this purpose, and people can donate points to it.
