Can you provide specific and actionable criticisms?

The whole model-manager ui is very clunky. When the mouse points to the elements, including buttons, scroll bars, TAB bars, and any elements of this plugin, all the click actions, hover action,  it takes 2-3 seconds to react. But the elements of comfyui itself were normal and unaffected.  I use the edge browser.

I tested it on my end and on Windows 11 it ran fine on Edge, so it's a bit hard to figure out what's going wrong. My initial guess is usually a problem with too many images, although I've added Lazy Loading. However, on lower-end mobile devices it can lag.

I'm adding some questions that may help you narrow down the issue.

Is ComfyUI up-to-date? Does the issue persist after an extended period of time keeping ComfyUI up? Sometimes on page load ComfyUI lags while updating nodes.

Is your browser up-to-date? How many files are you trying to view? The model manager uses Lazy Loading, which should work on Edge, but if it is loading all image files at once (it shouldn't be), it could drastically slow things down.

Have you tried adjusting the settings? Decreasing model preview dimensions may help if the issue is with image sizes. You could also try disabling buttons and real-time search if you are concerned about performance. Just remember to press the "Save" button to make sure the changes take effect.

Happy to hear it. If there are any other issue, feel free to bring them up.

I test it on ComfyUI_cu124 is OK, and on ComfyUI_cu121 or ComfyUI_cu118 are slow.

That's odd. The model manager shouldn't be using CUDA, PyTorch or anything GPU heavy. It's mostly relatively simple file system operations. Therefore, I'm not sure how CUDA on the server-side would be causing a user-side browser slow down in the UI.

For what it's worth, I'm using 2.3.1+cu121 and on my Windows PC it seems fine.
