GPS Stus forces close on 5.2H also #122

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Latest 5.2H signed ROM
2.Latest Saphire Radio update
3.Launch GPS Status app

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? "Forced Close"

What build are you using? Do you have apps-on-sd? What radio? Did you wipe
after flashing (yes if you are on an auto-wipe build)? No apps on SD, did
wipe before flash.

Please provide any additional information below.

I believe the GPS Status app uses some APIs that aren't public, and I think
google
has removed some/all of these which will cause any apps using them to break,
this is
something the author(s) of GPS Status has to fix.

So you have! Thanks for the great work. Though, on 5.0.1H-zh-pdf it still
crashes.

I just tested it and it seems to work fine on 5.0.2H

Confirmed working on 5.0.1Gr3, albeit with quite a few bugs involving the
landscape
rotate and compass interaction but I'm sure those will get resolved in time.
Thanks
for work on the update, I'm glad to have that functionality back.
