Mail Notification For Additional Pop Accounts Not Working On 5.02H #188

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Gmail accounts works fine
2.Set up new pop email account
3.No sound or notification status appears when email is received.

What is the expected output? 
Notification sound and alert.

What do you see instead?
Nothing.

What build are you using?
5.02h 
Do you have apps-on-sd?
yes

This didn't work for me and I did it twice.  Once with my 5.0.2Hr2 and once 
after a
clean install of 5.0.2Hr3.  The removal of Mail.apk and teeter.apk works and 
pushing
the old Mail.apk doesn't give me any errors either, but the application doesn't
appear in my tray, even after rebooting.

Discovered a crash when recording video with the Mail.apk 03/27/09 build.
So the defect is still current.
