Mobile sites and no tether #192

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.a browser that works
2.the newer daproy kernel
3.Mail notifications

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the html websites load and not the mobile versions and working wifi
tethering. the mail app doesnt notify when a new email comes in.

What build are you using? Do you have apps-on-sd? What radio? Did you wipe
after flashing (yes if you are on an auto-wipe build)? 5.0.3Hr3 apps to sd.
on 2.22.19.23 with the 2.6.27-04102009-daproy kernel.

Please provide any additional information below.

It would probably be more effective to create a separate issue report for each
