[5.0.*] EXT2 Partition will not mount #209

I was previously using LucidREM with my SD card with (1st) FAT partition
and (2nd) EXT2 partition
I installed G and H versions - neither would detect my ext2 parition

I would try to manually mount using:
mkdir /system/sd
mount -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 /system/sd

It would say invalid argument there

I tried reformatting/fdisk the SD card entirely with no luck

Running df and mount would should the /sdcard mount but no /system/sd
(/sdcard would show as being mounted under //vold)

Hmmmmmmmmm, I seem to be running fine with Apps to SD card.
My system SD was found no problem.
I'm using 5.0.2Hr3 and used Partition manager to format my SD as needed.

Can you explain why to cancel? For those who happen to have the same issue?
