process phone.android.com has stopped unexpectedly #229

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Lock the signal on to one network. eg. T-Mobile
2.Shut phone off.
3.Turn phone on in an area which doesn't have a T-Mo signal.

What is the expected output? To have phone start normally.

What do you see instead? Process phone.android.com has stopped unexpectedly
with a force close box. It just keeps doing that until you turn the phone
off. Phone is unusable in that state.

What build are you using? 5.0.2H

Do you have apps-on-sd? No

What radio? Haykuro's Latest radio for 1.5 firmware

Did you wipe
after flashing (yes if you are on an auto-wipe build)? Yes, and yes, but I
wiped anyway just to be safe

Please provide any additional information below.

It also happens to others on other roms, (Happened to me even on the stock
rom as reported on the Google code page). I posted a solution on the T-Mo
forums, and someone else on 5.0.2H thanked me because it was happening to him.

The solution right now is to start the phone, go immediately to settings,
all the while clicking off the error box, and reset the setting to select
networks automatically. Then your phone will immediately load
radio.android.com and work perfectly.

On official roms, this has happened with a forced network select, and with
people who changed providers.
