pressing [space] twice to end sentence inserts extra spaces. #231

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Type a sentence, and press [space] twice to end sentence (insert a period 
and a space)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A period should be inserted, followed by a space. Instead, an extra space is 
inserted, then 
the period, then another space.

What build are you using? Do you have apps-on-sd? What radio? Did you wipe
after flashing (yes if you are on an auto-wipe build)?

5.0.2.Hr3 with a wipe.

Please provide any additional information below.
