Music stops working when listening with mini usb/ stereo adapter

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Listen to music with a mini USB to stereo headphone adapter
2. Listened for about an hour occasionally scanning forward and backward

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected audio to keep playing, but audio stops and when you exit the Music 
application and try to change the phone ringer volume it changes the Music 
volume because the service appears to run until you reset the phone.  

What build are you using? Do you have apps-on-sd? What radio? Did you wipe
after flashing (yes if you are on an auto-wipe build)?

Build: 5.0.2Hr4 signed
No apps-on-sd
Yes wiped then installed.

when I try to play music after this happens the music scrollbar/ time 
change but there is no audio.

Same thing happened to me this morning. All the exact specs here except i have 
apps to sd. It wont let 
me adjust ringer volume now, only media volume until i reboot.
