5.0.2 Hr5 doesn't install #274

I can't install the newest H build, no APPS to SD (could never figure out
how to partition my SD card). On the bootloader (using JF's bootload) I get
an error while verifying the update package, it says "E: Wrong Digest:
META-INF /com/google/android/update-script E: Verification failed".

This is with an "Alt+W" code right before the "Alt+S".

I have had this issue also on the H build and G build of the APPS to SD. I did
a SHA1
check on both of the files and they did not match what was on the website. Mine
failed
on verifying the Boot file.

I'm checking the G build of no-apps, the zip file has "signed" appended to it so
we'll see if that works better. Let me know if anything else develops. Anyone
else
encountering this problem?

I believe I tried Bandongo...are you on SD-Apps or No-Apps?

Alright I downloaded the H apps2sd again from Bandongo and it came up with the
-signed version this time and had no more issue with flashing. Also the non wipe
worked great, Thank you.

please correct me if I'm wrong, ... No-Wipe means you don't have to wipe(alt+w)
before
you Install(alt+s), so if I go from Hr3 to Hr5, I just update ??

Or do I have to wipe before updating to Hr5, and no-wipe will apply to the
following
updates ... wasn't clear to be honest.

No-Wipe means that when you use Alt+S it will not wipe the apps and data from
your
phone. This will only be a "no-wipe" if you are coming from a similar build as
you
said Hr3 to Hr5 will be a no-wipe update.

If you are nervous, install JF's build first which is a no-wipe, and then go
into
recovery mode and use nandroid to take a backup. His recovery image is awesome
to be
able to quickly back up the phone. If you have more interest in that check out
the
XDA-developers.com forums under "Dream" - Dev

They all work fine now, weren't signed before is my guess. Issue solved.

@Mohamed, that's correct. To be safe, I would wipe for one last time and all
updates
for the future will be wipe-free, because likely there's still a code change
that
requires wiping to change it.

Also, non-wiping between builds (i.e. G to H, as I just tried) doesn't work.

Thanks :) ....

I'm not concerned with backing up my phone ( definately not nervous lol ), just
wanted
to know what no-wipe means. Had the JF build before and currently am using
their boot
loader ( for some reason ) , never needed to backup cause contacts are synced
with
gmail and that's all I need to take with me ... :) can always re-download apps.

Thanks guys,
