Hanging on G1 screen upon restart #286

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Restarting phone after initial update

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to boot to home, but hangs on the G1 screen.

What build are you using? Do you have apps-on-sd? What radio? Did you wipe
after flashing (yes if you are on an auto-wipe build)?
build: 5.0.2G-A2SD
radio: 2.22.19.23

I have tried all builds, and have the same problem. Initial boot after 
update always works, but subsequent boots all hang on g1 screen. In order 
to get the phone to boot I have to wipe it - is this something I have done 
wrong?
