Data stops working randomly and does not re-start without re-boot #287

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Unknown. Data service just randomly stops working (i.e., "Edge" icon
just disappears) when in range of full signal. Phone connection works fine
and shows full bars. Previously used data in same area without any trouble.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Attemptis to use programs that require data (i.e., mail, Google talk,
maps, etc.) fails. Receive error message that data is unavailable
or "trying to connect" (without resolution). I have not seen this problem
on prior builds.

What build are you using? Do you have apps-on-sd? What radio? Did you wipe
after flashing (yes if you are on an auto-wipe build)?
5.02Hr5 (not apps2sd)
Latest radio.
I wiped all prior installs but not this one per Haykuro's instruction.

Please provide any additional information below.
Tried to go into settings to activate/deactivate all of the various data
settings to see if that would reenable data but nothing worked. Only
solution is re-boot.

Turning on airplane mode and off again will reset the data connection without a
reboot.

settings --> wireless controls --> mobile networks --> network operators

let it find tmobile again and exit out, airplane mode won't fix it for me, but
this
will, every time

I haven't seen this problem in the last couple of days so it may just have been
a
T-Mobile issue. I later read that T-Mobile had data issues that particular day.
