Looks like this is same as
http://code.google.com/p/sapphire-port-dream/issues/detail?id=27. So that's a
confirmation.

I have applied the fix for the 4.5 image. If I disconnect the BT headset while
in a
call, the audio is there and 2 way. As soon as i reconnect the BT headset, i
loose
all call audio. Also the skip/repeat controls for audio seem to work.
I tested this on a diffenet BT device (Motorola S805 streo headset as oppoised
to
the Sont BT5000 headunit in my car. Will retest with my car as soon as i leave
for
work this evening.)

I tested just now with A2DP headphones, seems to work just fine.
Can someone else verify?

I don't own any a2dp. Though this was a problem with 4.5 also. Can you confirm
that?
Could be headphone specific. Hard to track down none the less.

I can verify this. Connected BT-Headset (Sony Ericsson HBH-DS970), made a call
and
hung up, started to listening to music and tried to skip or pause (without
success).
Disconnected BT-Headset, suddenly after about 15 seconds the music player
started to
play music randomly(?) skipping to the next tracks.

I can use a2dp with my car headunit Pioneer AVIC-D3. Pause, FF, RR worked. I
can't
use the headset function with this unit (via CD-BTB2000) and with Moto H560.
When I
make a call, I hear a beep from my headset, but no audio. The audio can be
heard
from the phone. I tried this with both 5.0.1H & 5.0G w/out SD.

UPDATE:
I have tested this with the R33 radio update and the Saphire Radio update
Saphire:
No BT connection: Calls process normally.
BT connected: No audio in call. If BT if disconnected during call, no change.
After call: phone must be reset to restore call audio.
A2DP: Controls for audio seem to work 100%
R33:
No BT: Everything good
BT connected: No call audio, but if you disconnect BT via menu on screen in call,
audio is good both ways. Reconnect BT, no audio.
After call: Call process normally if BT disocnnected.
A2DP: Not retested (technical difficulties) See comment 2 for results.
This was done on an existing install (no wipe) and with the "fix" from 4.5 for
camera also applied (when the radio was R33. Would it still be applied after i
updated to the saphire radio?)

I've tried this and confirmed it with a Jabra BT250v and an original-style
Jawbone
mono earpiece.

Issue is kernel based, will be resolved as soon as a good kernel comes out and
either
i or daproy compiles it.

I have this issue with the H build but not the G build.

Scratch comment 16 -- it seems to be intermittent on H, so perhaps it was an
issue on
the G build after all.

I tried on my car which haves a bluetooth reciever in two modes: a2dp
mode(audio stereo) and headset
mode(audio mono+mic).
I can't ear the incoming calls when connected to a2dp, it doesn't switch to
headset mode.
I can't switch back to phone the audio source.
I always have to reboot the phone.

Confirmed 5.02G, using Tmobile G1 and i.Tech Clip S35. I originally installed
5.02H-
a2sd, media audio worked fine, but I couldn't get call audio. Also tried 5.02G-
a2sd, 5.02H and 5.02G, same symptoms. I could not install the radio update.
Finally got SPL update and Radio update installed. A2DP Media Audio and Phone
Audio
is now working perfectly.
