WiFi cannot connect to WEP encrypted networks #2

Description: WiFi can not detect and connect to a WEP encrypted network. Open 
and WPA encrypted networks have no issue connecting.
Recreation: Settings > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi settings > *Menu Button* > 
Scan
Notes: It is unknown if other network encryption methods will work properly or 
at all.

Good news! I changed the android_prebuilt package to gingerbread and now it 
compiles again. I may have fould a way to let people connect to WEP and

I also believe I have been able to turn on debugging in wpa_supplicant, so I 
can figure out why it won't connect sometimes, and why it wont report signal 
level.

Seems it can only detect WEP encrypted networks, but still can not connect to 
one. It will always display "Obtaining IP..." and will occasionally disconnect.
