Hi,

Since v4.1.1 I have randomly security warning, no explainations, just cancel or ok are the options. However, pages and certificates are OK. For example https://www.google.com.

This must be a bug.

Have you tried if other browser (on the same device, same ROM, on the same day as certificates have expiration time) also has such popups?

ksuuk commented 6 years ago

Yes, chrome works fine.

me 2,but only on VPN mode.

The warning is made by WebView. I'll clarify the problem url for the time being.

@ksuuk Could you write your device name and last updated date of ROM?

I am using yuzu 4.1.1 on 5.0.2 device with Mar. 2018 patch installed (and certificates are updated at that time, I think,) and haven't had any trouble with *.google.com and www.google.co.jp.

@meDevil Can you trust your VPN provider? Is the encryption strong enough?

I think the cause of your problem is different from @ksuuk 's. If the trouble occurs only on the VPN, someone in the route might be doing man-in-the-middle attack. It's difficult to tell who the "someone" is, but your VPN provider could be.

I don't have such trouble on my college's network with *.google.com and www.google.co.jp. Could you check it on reliable connection?

@taka-hkd

My phone (Xperia X) is using official 8.0 with April 2018 patch. I also use AdGuard, without https interception. And I see this security warning in random time with random sites.
