cant's view .nef files after a .mov file was selected in image viewer with D800

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go into image viewing mode
2. select camera sd slot and update button
3.a after thumbnails are displayed, select .mov thumbnail or
3.b select a .nef thumbnail and then click >> to move to a .mov thumbnail
4. after an unsucesfull display of .mov try to view another. nef thumbnail

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
an enlarged .nef representationm instead, nothing happens (i can still move 
freely through the program)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
probably newest since i can't update it, can't find where to check...
i'm using google nexus 10 android 4.4 (happened on 4.3 aswell)

Please provide any additional information below.
selecting a different .mov file after a first one will make the program try to 
execute it but again nothing happens

would be cool if you could set the setting to just skip .mov files instead of 
atempting to open them
