Hi Joe,

We see the same problem as well. We're using the recently OpenOffice 3.2 to
convert
from .ppt/.pptx documents to PDF.

For .ppt and .pdf, the results look good. For .pptx, it's either Microsoft
doesn't
make it easy to convert or OpenOffice has not added proper support. We are
relying
on OpenOffice, so we can only offer as good as conversion as OpenOffice
supports.

For best results, we recommend using .pdf as it embeds all the needed fonts.
The
good news is that Microsoft offers a "save as" capability for .pdf in Office
2007.
