so I finally looked into the command that launched sparkleshare and copied it to launch it through the terminal...
you're gonna laugh once you see what the issue is X3
yes, because I'm using my previous symlink from my Xubuntu install to my data drive where my sparkleshare folder is, it fails to launch because the "folder" already exists X3 O'd shay you got a bit of a bug there chap :)
also, how can I install sparkleshare locally from this?? call me an oldie, but I prefer distributed updates over remote execution ;) (at least flatpak makes this appear remote)
the logs don't really give anything useful everything appears to work properly there
Versions:
What happened:
$ sparkleshare
is not foundjust a few notes my experience with flatpak kinda sucked
xbps-install flatpak
worked (already a better experience than with Xubuntu)flatpak remote-add ...
failed (unable to connect to system bus) fixed that with numerous headachesflatpak install ...
worked after having to re-auth numerous times (at least 10)is there any way to get a local installation so I can see more by running
$ sparkleshare
?? (do you have a repository I can figure out how to add to xbps)EDIT: or an AppImage
this is my first time using an arch-based distro btw, so please excuse me if a few things may have flown under my nose, learning things isn't exactly easy when nothing wants to work out of the box, including the live image.
