(Not now but later.)

Readingthis and working on the draft triggered a lot of thinking about what we have done in the last couple of years. Also, I noticed that we have to be clear as to what we are actually writing about which is chosing properties and classes for describing bibliographic resources in RDF and not value vocabularies or properties/classing for describing organizations (as we deal with in lobid-organisations where we actually follow a different approach using schema.org as base vocabular).

@ChristophEwertowski please take a look at this whether it is understandable and makes sense. What do you think: Shouldn't we add an overview table on all vocabularies used and how many properties/classes are taken from each?

First some minor points and then an answer to your question:

  1. Under the headline "How we choose.." the first paragraph ends with

we wrote down the following ranking of vocabularies to help with our choice:

and then the ranking appears one paragraph later. The easiest formula would be

we wrote down a ranking of vocabularies to help with our choice.

  1. Before the headline "Some examples" the question mark has to be replaced.
  2. In the next to last paragraph, in the sentence which starts with "Finally" the first "or" should be replaced by a comma.

The numbers of properties and classes should be taken out of the text and be put into a table; together with the other vocabularies. The ratio of these numbers is interesting for readers and ourselves but few people will remember the single numbers after heaving read the text.

The rest of the text is easy to read and understand.

I am quite happy with the result by now. Will take a last look on Tuesday and then we can publish it.
